The dirtier the better

Rebecca LOVES the dirt at the softball park. She plays in it until she's covered head to toe. It's a super fine dirt, which sticks even better to her clothes, hands, face, hair, anything it touches! She doesn't need a single toy to play in the dirt for an hour each night.

There have been nights when she reminds me of Pigpen from Snoppy. When she walks the dirt billows off of her. It's amazing how dirty she can get and how much fun she has getting so dirty!

"Look Mom-my feet disappeared!"

Other parents have commented on the fact that she can play without any or with just a few toys at all the ball games we go to and not get bored. It's a learned skill that comes from going to so many games and not being over loaded with things to do. She's had to use her imagination and think of things to do. Dirt is on the top of her list.

It's a good thing kids and clothes wash.
